In the Meta ecosystem the cost of risk is high: a suspended ad account affects not only access but also the connected pages, pixels and spending history. That is why, on the Facebook side, proxy use is a matter of account hygiene , not of "getting around blocks".
How Does Linking Happen?
Isolating a single signal is not enough. A proxy separates the IP; without profile isolation and separate payment methods, the link is still established.
Setup Architecture
In a professional setup, every "identity" is fully isolated:
The third layer is the subject of this site; if you skip the others, a proxy alone will not be enough.
IP Selection
What Facebook expects is a stable home/ISP address belonging to the country the account is based in. Addresses that change frequently or are registered to a hosting ASN cause problems, especially during ad account verification.
The first three rows are session-based tasks and do not tolerate rotation. The last two rows are session-free and benefit from rotation.
Ad Account Risks
Meta's advertising policies are intertwined with payment and identity verification. Proxy use is not banned outright; however, these three situations trigger a review:
- The country where the card is registered differing from the country of the login IP.
- Logins from several countries within a short period.
- A large number of new ad accounts created from the same IP.
This article is only for the legitimate management of your own brand's accounts. Reopening banned accounts, using fake identities or using proxies to violate policy is contrary to both platform rules and the law.
Verification
Once you have completed the setup, run three checks for each profile: exit IP and country, WebRTC leak and DNS leak. When WebRTC is left enabled, your real IP is visible through the browser and the entire isolation effort goes to waste.
