Definition and Architecture
A datacenter proxy is a proxy whose IP is registered to the network of a hosting or data center company. Physically it runs on servers in Tier III+ data centers, backed by a 10 Gbps backbone, redundant power and professional network management. There is none of the variability of a home or mobile line — performance is the same at every hour of the day.
The Advantages in Numbers
- Latency: Under 10 ms — latency the only option for latency-sensitive work.
- Bandwidth: Unlimited traffic; no GB meter.
- Cost: From ₺49/month per IP — a small fraction of residential traffic.
- Persistence: Your IP is static; keep it as long as you want.
- Scale: Bulk allocation in /29-/24 subnet blocks.
The Limit: ASN Visibility
The network (ASN) each IP is registered to is public data. Bot protection systems automatically flag traffic coming from hosting ASNs as "possibly not human". That means datacenter IPs quickly run into CAPTCHAs or blocks on protected targets — large marketplaces, social networks, sneaker sites. This limit is not insurmountable, but using them on the right target is smarter than trying to beat it.

Dedicated or Shared?
Shared IPs are sold to several users: it is the cheapest option, but your neighbors also shape the IP's reputation. A dedicated IP is yours alone; its reputation record is built by your own behavior. The price difference is small, the difference in control is large — for regular work we recommend dedicated.
Decision Time
Ask yourself this question: "How aggressive is my target's bot protection?" If the answer is "not very / I don't know", start with datacenter — if it works, you have found the most economical solution. If you get stuck, you move up to residential.
